Keeping Eyes on the Skies and Boots on the Ground.

This weekend the Tallaght unit where providing EMT Ambulance and medical cover for our colleagues at the Order of Malta Ireland - Ambulance Corps - Bray at the Bray Airshow.

โ€‹When tens of thousands of spectators gather along the Bray seafront for one of Ireland's most thrilling spectacle events, The Bray Air Display. All eyes where naturally fixed on the sky to view the high-speed aerobatic maneuvers to precision parachute drops, the atmosphere was electric.
โ€‹Behind the scenes (and right in the thick of the crowd), an equally impressive operational effort was underway to ensure everyone stayed safe.

Dedicated emergency medical teams from the Order of Malta Ireland Ambulance Corps came out in force so everyone could enjoy the day safely.

New Wheels, Same Mission: Order of Malta Ireland Ambulance Corp Tallaght Unit Launches State-of-the-Art Ambulance.

Volunteers at the Tallaght Order of Malta has a massive reason to celebrate this week! We are thrilled to officially announce the launch of our brand-new, state-of-the-art ambulance.
For years, our dedicated volunteers have been on the front lines of community care, and this new vehicle ensures we can continue delivering top-tier pre-hospital emergency care whenever and wherever itโ€™s needed.

From Vision to Reality: A Team Effort
Bringing a high-spec vehicle like this to fruition doesn't happen overnight. It takes a community, a vision, and some crucial financial support from SDCC.

The Funding: This life-saving addition to our fleet was made possible thanks to SDCC for their generous grant. We are incredibly grateful for this funding, which directly invests in the health, safety, and well-being of the Tallaght community.

The Build: A premium chassis needs an equally premium fitout. We partnered with the experts at Primo to custom-build the interior. They have done a phenomenal job, transforming the vehicle into a mobile treatment room equipped with the latest medical technology, optimized for patient comfort and crew efficiency. This ambulance isn't just a vehicle, itโ€™s a vital community asset.

Serving the Local Community: From supporting local care initiatives to being ready for emergency deployment, this vehicle strengthens our ability to care for our neighbours in Tallaght.

Event Medical Cover: Whether itโ€™s local sports tournaments, major concerts, festivals, or community galas, our team will be on-site with the best equipment available to keep the public safe.
Spotted Us Yet? ๐Ÿš‘

Keep an eye out for our shiny new unit tomorrow at The Priory, Tallaght which will be its first official Duty.

When you see us, give the crew a wave.
Once again, we extend a massive thank you to everyone who supported this project. Hereโ€™s to many years of dedicated service ahead!
