Bob and his dog helped out this evening in the Castle Garden. So did Mary and Martin but they were too shy to have their photo taken. The cat heard about my friend Robin and decided to come along to see if she could meet him. But he stayed in hiding until she was gone! Come along and join us for an hour on Wednesday evenings. You will be very welcome. Bring gloves. Tools are available. And you can enjoy some pleasant chats in the open air.

What a splendid example of giving back to the community! Today the wonderful staff of IFAC, Nenagh donated a day’s service to Nenagh & Environs Tidy Towns. In the summer sun they are painting railings and bollards in the Town around St. Flannan’s Street.

This is a brilliant initiative by IFAC and we are very appreciative of the work they are doing. Thank you to all the team and to Lynn Kelly who co-ordinated the offer to help.

This is just an example of what volunteers can do to help make Nenagh a better place in which to live, work and visit. We are open to offers from other groups and individuals!

Another evening’s work done this evening in the Castle Garden. Thanks to Jim, Margaret, Helen, Mary and Marie for their help. Progress certainly is being made.

We are currently meeting each Wednesday evening between 6 and 8. More willing hands would be welcome.

Meanwhile litter picking by our volunteers continues around the town.

Let’s continue to do our bit for the town.

You can help with weeding, litter picking or maybe you are handy with a paintbrush. If you have some time give us a shout!

Paid a visit this evening to St. Paul’s Playground. Wonderful to see how the biodiversity area planted last year has flourished. And to see the work progressing on the new mural. The Circus is coming to town!
