The Republican Network For Unity would like to congratulate the Garvaghy road community on the news that the Orange Order are now prohibited from marching through their community!

R.N.U were proud to stand in solidarity with the people of Garvaghy road and with likeminded Republicans across the spectrum. The community of the Garvaghy road and wider area showed steadfast resilience and welcomed people from across Ireland with open arms.

We hope this puts the issue to bed and sends a clear signal to all those who would seek to push similar marches through other nationalist areas of Ireland.

R.N.U members from across Ireland remained with the residents of the Garvaghy road from the early hours of Sunday night. Spirits remain high as the community and wider republican community across Ireland continue to band together and resist the hate mob. Whatever tomorrows outcome may be, we remain committed to supporting the people of the Garvaghy road.

R.N.U have stood with many other republicans, alongside the residents of Garvaghy Road and today was no different as everyone rallied to show our collective determination to oppose not only this sectarian march, but more which would follow unless we make a stand.
