Working together for safer roads in County Monaghan

The County Monaghan Road Safety Action Plan Phase Two (2026–2027) has been launched at Monaghan Fire Station.

The plan sets out a coordinated approach to improving road safety through safer infrastructure, education, enforcement and partnership working. It also supports the national objective of reducing road fatalities and serious injuries by 50% by 2030.

Road safety is a shared responsibility. Whether walking, cycling, driving or using public transport, we can all play our part.
