Sincere condolences to family and friends. R.I.P 🙏Stephanie❤️

McCarthy, Stephanie (Howth and native Mitchelstown) Passed away peacefully on the 9th of October, 2026, aged 57, surrounded by her loving family. Stephanie lived her life full of love and joy. The love of Donal’s life, Gus and Julianne’s adoring and proud mother.

Dearly loved by her parents John and Brid, brothers Colman and Fintan, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and by her many friends and relations from Howth, Dublin, Cork, London and California.

Rest in Peace.

Requiem Mass on Thursday morning (October 15th) at 10am in the Church of the Assumption, Howth followed by burial at Balgriffin Cemetery.

Sincere condolences to family and friends. R.I.P 🙏Elizabeth ❤️

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth O’Connor, Carrigane, Mitchelstown, and formerly of Kildorrery, Co. Cork, who passed away unexpectedly on 2nd October 2026, at Cork University Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Dermot and Breda, her brothers Gerard, Pat and John, and her brother-in-law Liam Collins.

Much loved sister of David, Marie (Collins), Eileen (Horgan), Paul, Anne, Michael and Theresa (O’Leary). Elizabeth will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

On September 30th 2026 peacefully, surrounded by his family at Fermoy Community Hospital, Michael (Mickey) Barrett beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Myers) and brother of the late James, John, David, Breda, Eileen and Mary.
Mickey will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons John and Michael, cherished grandchildren Amy, Hannah, Peter and Molly, brothers Paddy and Billy, sisters Babe, Chris, Phil and Anne, daughter in law Siobhan and Michael’s partner Eleanor, sisters in law, brothers in laws, nephews, nieces, special friend Pat Lambe, relatives, neighbours and friends.

On September 26th 2026, peacefully, with her family and in the wonderful care of all at the Bons Secours Hospital, Cork, SHELAGH (nee Murphy), Mitchelstown.

Beloved wife of Gorm, loving mother of Lise, Kirsten and Julie and devoted granny to Amy, Emma, Ella, Sadhbh and Saoirse.

Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Shane, Oliver and Sean, brothers Ned and Terry, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Beloved wife of the late Pa and loving mother of Tara, Chloe (English) and Nicole and loving granny to Zoe, Amy, Micheal and Tadhg.

Beloved son of late James (Jeff) & Ann (nee Relihan) and dear brother of Dan, Martin, Jean, James, Brendan, Dermot, Annette, Louise and Clare.

Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law John Joyce & Kevin O’Riordan, Clare’s partner Kieran, sisters-in-law Josephine, Theresa, Gwen, Brenda and Denise, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
