WOMEN IN MANUFACTURING | NELL STRITCH
As part of our National Womenβs Enterprise Day campaign, we are delighted to spotlight Nell Stritch, founder of Pressed Flowers by Nell.
From learning the art of pressing flowers from her grandmother to building an award-winning creative business in the heart of Limerick, Nellβs journey is a brilliant example of how passion, creativity and enterprise can come together to create something truly unique.
Established in 2019, Pressed Flowers by Nell specialises in transforming bridal bouquets and flowers into beautiful, bespoke works of art that preserve precious memories for years to come. What began from Nellβs kitchen table has grown into a thriving business, with her work now available through leading Irish retailers including Arnotts and Brown Thomas.
Nellβs business is also deeply rooted in family tradition. She learned flower pressing from her grandmother, Nancy Lawless, founder of the much-loved Lawless Flowers in Limerick, continuing a family connection to floristry that spans generations.
And 2026 has already been a remarkable year for Nell, with Pressed Flowers by Nell named Flower Preservation Supplier of the Year at the Weddingsonline Awards 2026, followed by a national television appearance on RTΓβs The Today Show as part of a feature celebrating the Local Enterprise Offices and National Womenβs Enterprise Day.
We are delighted to celebrate Nell and the creativity, ambition and entrepreneurial spirit she brings to Limerick and beyond.
Women in Enterprise. Women in Manufacturing. Women making their mark.
