Did you know smoke alarms have an expiry date?

If you check the side of your alarm, you will see a sticker listing the date it must be replaced by. All alarms have a 10 year lifespan.

Check yours is in date and keep your family's safety up to date.

Test it Tuesday

Ensure your smoke alarm works well by:
1. Testing it every Tuesday
2. Changing the battery when needed and never borrow batteries.
3. Cleaning the casing every six months.
4. Replacing the alarm every ten years.
