The tour takes you on a journey through the life in this part of Donegal, Ireland from the 1840s up until the present day telling the story of Ireland as it was, from all sides, showing how families have lived and survived during this time. One of our excursions was to for a morning of experiential heritage learning. It’s an excellent mix of demonstration, presentation and self-directed tour which leaves visitors of all ages thinking deeply about many relevant situations and issues that impact not only historical Ireland. Thanks to Pat Doherty (Shan) and Majella for making us feel most welcomed! And we completely enjoyed Patrick’s presentation as well!
