🌳🎈 National Play Day 2026
Hosted by Kilkenny County Council's Community Section in partnership with Cypsc Kilkenny and the Department of Children, Disability and Equality, the free family event welcomed hundreds of children and families for an afternoon full of fun, creativity and outdoor play.
🪄 From magic shows and yoga to giant games, storytelling, balance bikes and soft play, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
This year's theme, "Play for All", celebrated inclusive play opportunities for children of all ages and abilities.

A huge thank you to all our partners, Kilkenny Civil Defence, Sonix Entertainment, Kilkenny Castle and Rayc Sports and families who helped make it our biggest and best National Play Day yet! 🥳
