I can't believe it's been almost a year since we last opened to the public.

Heritage week is almost upon us and we are almost ready to open again to give tours and talk about the collection of ephemera and vernacular housed here at Gowran House.

The house itself with its own history beginning in 1580, to Cromwell, and all the way up to today still has lots of original features from several centuries.

So if you have some time to spare, love history come pay us a visit, I could talk the hind legs of a donkey 😁
