We look forward to welcoming you with lots of new ideas & creations Summer 2025 🌎💚 Set along a spectacular waterfall in the natural Eden of Glengarriff, The Ewe offers visitors a chance to step off the treadmill, slow down and rediscover our beautiful but vulnerable natural world. Poetry, information, games, creative areas & a summer tea garden. All ages will enjoy this relaxing, fun & fantasy filled haven.

Before we opened in the morning Kurt would gander with George & loved watching him watch the two (remaining) ducks & one (remaining) guinea fowl gather for breakfast.
A couple of years on, the cosy crew dwindled, but the invincible lone guinea fowl still greeted him every morning with it's call (as melodic as a chain-saw).
They are such extraordinary bluish-red wrinkled 'Ancients'. Almost like stooped, top-hatted old men or timid cousins of the fearsome Casowry.
Ours, used up it's nine (or ninety) lives years ago, having weathered countless storms & dramas; that slowly blew or consumed, it's far lesser companions.
That is, until now.
Finally, a few days back he didn't turn up 'like clockwork' & sadly his familiar, if ear-sawing call, fell silent.
It is nature & Kurt misses him, but we wish that steadfast character had been able to write. There'd definitely be a memoir. Who knows what became of him, but atleast I am sure he's taken off with a big S on his chest.
Farewell to a wee friend, that was much appreciated. ♡

We've been flying.. around.
Dismantling, sculpting, delivering, sorting allsorts.. Birthday/Fringe-Festing & will be shuffling onto notifying & delivering more raffle prizes.. soooonish.
