🇺🇦 UKRAINIAN CULTURE AT CULTURE NIGHT 2026 💙💛

On 18 September, we were proud to be part of Culture Night 2026, sharing a piece of Ukraine with the people of Galway through music and dance. 💃🇺🇦

The evening was filled with Ukrainian music, traditional dances, genuine emotions, and incredible energy. We didn’t just showcase our culture — we invited our guests to join us, try Ukrainian dancing, and experience its unique spirit and atmosphere together.

It was especially wonderful to see how dance brings people together regardless of language, age, or nationality. In moments like these, culture truly becomes a bridge connecting people. 🤝🌍

For us, taking part in Culture Night is much more than just another event. It is an opportunity to preserve and promote Ukrainian culture far from home, introduce it to the local community, and make Ukraine a visible part of the cultural life of Galway and Ireland.

💙💛 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who spent this evening with us — for dancing, supporting us, discovering our culture, and sharing your emotions and smiles!

✨ Culture connects us. And Ukrainian culture is part of this story. 🇺🇦🤝🇮🇪

☕️ COFFEE MORNING: THE VOICE OF OUR COMMUNITY 💙💛

On 18 September 2026, during our traditional Coffee Morning, an important meeting took place with representatives of Galway City Council, focusing on identifying the needs of the Ukrainian community in Galway.

The meeting was held in the form of an open, structured, and constructive dialogue. Participants had the opportunity to talk about the issues, challenges, and needs that are important to them and their families today.

💬 During the discussion, every question and concern was listened to carefully and given proper attention. The conversation focused not only on understanding the challenges faced by members of our community, but also on exploring possible ways of providing support and finding solutions.

The conversation was respectful, meaningful, and supportive. It was particularly important for us to feel the genuine interest, attention, and willingness to listen throughout the meeting.

Meetings like this not only give our community an opportunity to speak about its needs, but also help build meaningful dialogue with local authorities, strengthen mutual understanding, and explore opportunities to support the further integration of Ukrainians in Galway. 🤝

We sincerely thank Galway City Council for their attention, openness, and willingness to listen, and everyone who participated for their trust, engagement, and active involvement. 💙💛

It is important to speak. It is important to be heard. And even more importantly — to build dialogue together.
