Join our COASTWATCH collaboration event on Ladies Beach, Salthill.
On the 14th of October, we will meet on Ladies Beach at 1 pm and help survey the litter, and biodiversity of the area. This is part of a HUGE effort led by to understand the true state of our coastline.
This will take about an hour, but it is very rewarding, and will help you understand more about Ocean Literacy.
For more information about the survey, see; Coastwatch website

The Village Salthill has offered some gift bags, and we look forward to seeing you on Ladies Beach.
Thanks to the Village Salthill for supporting this event.

The First Seashore Safari of 2026 🩵
Thank you to Cregmore National School who have completed our first seashore safari of the year with the Marine Institute Explorers Education Programme. They did a fantastic job exploring rock pools on Grattan beach finding lots of interesting animals and building and decorating some creative sandcastles.
