Reminder Swimming Pool will be closed tomorrow Wednesday 14th Oct due to Industrial Action.

Cork County Council has received notice of industrial action involving the withdrawal of labour tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14th, 2026.

Local authority buildings, including libraries, swimming pools and Cork County Council-owned tourist attractions will be closed to the public on that day and will re-open as normal on Thursday, October 15th.

Some emergency services are subject to derogation. This includes the Fire Service and homeless services which will not be affected by this industrial action.

The below event takes in the town park tomorrow evening. This will mean the closure of the town park to cars as parking is restricted. There will also be no evening session at the swimming pool.

Cork County Council is pleased to announce the Fermoy International Concert, a celebration of music, community and culture taking place as part of Cultúr 2026, Cork's cultural programme celebrating Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The event will feature performances by the Fermoy Concert Band, Fermoy International Choir, One Town One Voice Choir (Midleton) and the CDYS Youth Choir.

- Fermoy Town Park
- From 2.30pm to 4.30pm
- Free Admission

The event will provide an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together in celebration of music, culture and community spirit.

🚫 Please note registration for these lessons will be either walk in or over the phone however the queue will be dealt with first before the phonelines. Please note these classes have very limited spaces and unfortunately some people looking for spots will be disapoointed.
