Looking for a meaningful way to bring STEM into your classroom this year? 💡

Clare Libraries were delighted to pilot Microsoft Dream Space in Kilkee last year.

This year, we're looking to expand the programme and are seeking primary schools in the Ennis and East Clare regions to get involved! 🌟

✅ No previous coding or STEM experience is needed.
✅ The programme is fully aligned with the redeveloped Primary School Curriculum and the new Primary STEM Education Specification.
✅ Fun, engaging, and inspiring for pupils!

📝 Registration is now open.

History Week Exhibition:
US250 Ireland and the Making of America
📍Newmarket-on-Fergus Library
📆Available to view during library opening hours.

The Irish Emigration Museum EPIC and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade created a public exhibition titled ‘Ireland and the Making of America’ to highlight the significant contribution of Irish people to the founding and development of the United States.

The exhibition explores how Irish immigrants played central roles as soldiers, political figures, and community leaders, as well as their broader impact on American culture, infrastructure, and public life.

Clare Libraries are pleased to present this exhibition in Newmarket-on-Fergus Library during library opening hours. This marks the connection of Newmarket with John F. Kennedy whose great-grandfather James Hickey was born in the townland of Kilkieran. The documentary ‘USA250: the Irish Connection’ will be shown in Newmarket Library on Tuesday 6, Wednesday 7 and Thursday, 8 October at 2.30pm.
