🔧 Life Safety Systems Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced engineer to join the team, with experience in areas such as:

• Fire alarm systems
• Emergency lighting
• Fire extinguishers
• Fault finding & maintenance
• Installation & commissioning

Demonstrated experience working to relevant Irish standards is essential.

🎓 Trainee Life Safety Systems Engineer

We’re also looking for a trainee to join the team and learn the trade from the ground up.

No previous fire industry experience is necessarily required — we’re looking for someone who wants to embark on a career in fire safety, has a passion for the industry, is reliable, practical, willing to learn.

Another project in Dublin is nearing the finish line. 🚨🔥

The client had been dealing with repeated false fire alarm activations and ongoing beam detector faults, so it was time for a complete system upgrade.

We're retrofitting both existing fire alarm systems, installing additional detection where required, including ceiling voids, outside lift doors, and rooms adjoining escape routes.

The existing beam detection had become a major source of problems, with a mix of older detector types and awkward-to-access controllers. We've removed the old setup and replaced it with a modern, reliable, and user-friendly beam detection solution.

We've also upgraded the emergency lighting by replacing failed fittings and adding new ones to ensure the building is properly illuminated where required.

Once complete, the client will have dependable fire detection and emergency lighting systems that provide long-term protection for both people and property for many years to come.

Week 1 complete on our latest apartment project in Dublin, and great progress already made.

✔️ Fire alarm first fixed
✔️ Installed detector bases
✔️ Mounted the fire alarm panel
✔️ First fixed containment and cabling for the new emergency lighting system

Over 1000m of Firetuff installed so far, clipped at 300mm intervals directly to the fabric of the building.

The new system includes:
🔥 Advanced MxPro5 networked fire alarm system
🔥 Hochiki field devices
🔥 Wagner air sampling detection
🔥 Linear heat detection cable

Apartment access begins next week, and we’re looking forward to seeing this project continue to take shape over the coming weeks and months.

A solid first week by the team on site, more updates to follow 💪

Installation of 26 no. fire extinguishers on site today to I.S. 291:2015+A1:2022

Tenant moved out this week which meant the install needed a quick turnaround. Looking forward to getting back again in a couple of weeks to carry out the first PPM visits of their Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting Systems.
