October is Unblocktober, and we’re on a mission to stop plastic pollution right at the source!

Flushing sanitary products is one of the leading causes of blocked drains and plastic waste in our rivers and oceans.

That’s where our Signature Inclusive Sanitary Bin comes in. Designed for all washroom users, it provides a hygienic, discreet, and seamless way to dispose of sanitary products, keeping them out of the pipes and protecting our environment.

Small changes in the washroom create a massive impact on our waterways. Is your business equipped to support Unblocktober?

Don't leave it to the air. Damp hands are like magnets for bacteria. If you wash properly but don't dry completely, you have just created a breeding ground for pathogens. Proper hand drying is the non-negotiable final step of the hygiene process.

Be honest: Have you ever taken a 'breath-hold' right before entering a washroom? 🫢

We've all done it. It's a small habit, but it speaks volumes about how people perceive a building's facilities. Unpleasant odours are one of the quickest ways to leave a negative impression on visitors and lower workplace satisfaction.
With Initial's wide range, there is something that suits everyone to help create a positive washroom environment.

Our Signature Inclusive Sanitary Bin is specifically designed for incontinence as well as sanitary needs , providing dignity in every washroom.

Many washroom bins are designed for one specific item, not the variety of personal waste people need to dispose of today. Standard sanitary bins simply weren't meant to handle larger items like male incontinence pads.

Featuring a larger waste tray and ergonomic features designed to accommodate accessibility needs.

Feeling awkward or anxious in a washroom cubicle over basic human needs is completely unnecessary in 2026.

Are your facilities truly built for everyone?

Not every health condition or personal need is visible at a glance.

For people living with stomas, chronic conditions, or invisible disabilities, using a workplace or public washroom can come with an added anxiety. If visitors don't know a space caters to their spcific needs, they may hesitate to use it.

At Initial, we advocate for sufficient signage in accessible washrooms. This sets expectations right away, removes guesswork, and gives people peace of mind before they step inside.
