Royal Canal Park Community Association Royal Canal Park Community Association - helping to build a community RCPCA was founded in 2006 by a small group of residents in Royal Canal Park, Dublin 15.

It aims to protect and improve the quality of life for all those living in Royal Canal Park and to help build a thriving community in this relatively new estate. The Association takes an active interest in areas such as planning, security, community development and estate management. It also organises a number of community events each year.

Let’s gather, declutter, swap, and connect! Join us at the Community Center on Saturday, September 26th (11:00 AM – 4:00 PM) for a day dedicated to sustainability, reuse, and neighbourhood fun.

Browsing and visiting is 100% FREE, and we’ll have free tea & coffee waiting for you! ☕✨

📦 Want to Host a Stall? Here’s How It Works
Instead of standing around all day, families or groups can book a 1-hour dedicated slot to sell or swap pre-loved items!

50 Total Slots Available: 10 tables running across five 1-hour time blocks.

1 Slot per Family/Group: Perfect for clearing out what you no longer need together as a family.

📋 Stall Guidelines & Tips
To keep the event smooth, safe, and fun for everyone:

Little Traders Welcome: We love seeing kids take the lead at the tables! It’s a fantastic hands-on way for them to sell toys, trade books, and learn about reuse—we just ask that a grown-up stays at the table with them to share the experience and lend a hand. 🎈

What to Bring: Pre-loved items in good condition—toys, books, children's items, small household goods, and working small electrical appliances.

What NOT to Bring: No heavy or bulky furniture, no food or drinks for sale, and no fine jewelry or expensive items.

Pack-In, Pack-Out: Whatever doesn't sell must leave with you at the end of your 1-hour slot.

Quick Setup: Arrive 5–10 minutes before your time slot so you can start trading right on the hour. Bring some small change or have Revolut handy!

👗 Bonus: Clothes Swap & Volunteers!
Clothes Swap: A dedicated clothes swap area will run in parallel alongside the market! (Detailed rules on how to drop off clothes coming soon).

Volunteers Needed: Want to lend a hand with setup, welcoming neighbors, or brewing coffee? Drop us a message—we'd love your help! 🤝

🎉 THANK YOU EVERYONE — WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY! 🌳☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Crescent Park and helped make our Community Picnic such an incredible success! Even the sun blessed us with perfect weather all day long. ☀️✨

They say fortune favors the bold, and today proved what a wonderfully strong community we are when we come together. When we step up, we can achieve truly great things—let’s keep this momentum going! 🙌 Thanks to all the volunteers that made this possible ❤️❤️❤️

🍔 Delicious burgers and amazing Brazilian sweets!
🎈 So many happy moments—the children had an absolute blast with all the games.
