Celebrating Women@SIMI 2026! ✨

Last week we hosted our 11th Women@SIMI event, in partnership with Bank of Ireland, bringing together 200 professional women from across Ireland’s motor industry at the InterContinental Dublin.

It was an inspiring day focused on leadership, confidence, resilience, networking, entrepreneurship and embracing change.

🎤 Joanne Somers, Managing Director of Johnson's Ireland, shared powerful insights on self-belief, personal brand and knowing your value, encouraging women to back themselves, take chances and recognise their own strengths.

💡 Áine Denn, Tech Entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Blazer, highlighted the importance of building strong networks, investing in yourself and embracing AI to improve productivity and stay competitive while recognising that human connection remains at the heart of innovation.

SIMI President Liam Denning and Karen Kennedy of Bank of Ireland Finance also highlighted the importance of diversity, inclusion and developing the next generation of talent as the motor industry continues to evolve.

👏 A huge thank you to everyone who made this year's Women@SIMI such a success!
