Student 2 Student Student2Student (S2S) Offers Mentoring and Peer Support to students of Trinity College Dublin

S2S is a student-led initiative designed to ensure any student in Trinity can get information and support from another student, find a friendly face to have a chat, talk things through or just ask a few questions when you're not sure who to approach. S2S offers Peer Mentors to every incoming undergraduate student and visiting student in the College. We also have a highly trained team of Peer Supporters available for all undergraduate and postgraduate students. The S2S Society also runs exciting and inclusive events throughout the year for all our mentor volunteers and all their mentees.

⚠️Reminder: Mentor buddy selection closes tomorrow!⚠️

⭐You can now choose your preferred buddies!

⭐Buddy selection is open till the 19th, so make sure to choose your buddy by then.

⭐You don't have to pick a buddy, but if you have someone in mind make sure to choose them on Odyssey. Make sure you've discussed it with them too!

📆Attention all incoming S2S Mentors! Some key dates for your diaries📆

⭐The Blackboard refresher training module will be launching next Friday, the 17th July. You will have three weeks to complete it.

If you have issues accessing Blackboard due to sign-in issues or being abroad, we recommend you email IT services so you can gain access.

⭐ Our summer committee will convene soon to plan the orientation prep event! This event is when new Mentors can collect their hoodies, meet their buddies and get Orientation ready!

Today marked the fifth and final day of 2026 Peer support training! A week of active listening, referrals, boundaries and more!

Not only did we have 18 new peer supporters, but we were also joined by .amlct , , and sabbatical officers.

S2S Peer Supportersare still available during the summer, check the link in our bio if you’d like to avail of it yourself! There will be new peer supporters joining the website very soon, watch this space!💃🏼

📣Applications are now open for S2S Peer Support!📣

The Peer Support programme is different to Mentoring. Peer Supporters undergo extensive training and offer 1:1 listening support to any student in Trinity.

To become a Peer Supporter you must submit an application (available at link in our bio). Applicants will be shortlisted for interview, and if successful, will be invited to attend training in May.

Postgraduates are welcome to apply, but please note that training takes place in May and you must be a student in Trinity and available for casework from September 2026 to May 2027.
