Last week, SĂle Hanley, Head of Regulation and Compliance, and Jessica Cunningham, Supervision Manager at the Health Insurance Authority (HIA), attended the CCPC's "Working Together for Effective Enforcement" breakfast briefing.
The event brought together organisations from across the public sector to discuss how we can work more closely together, share information more effectively and strengthen our collective approach to consumer protection.
For the HIA, collaboration like this is important. The more effectively regulators and public bodies work together, the better positioned we are to identify issues, support investigations and, ultimately, help protect consumers.
It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from colleagues across different sectors and build relationships that support a more coordinated approach to regulation and enforcement.
Thanks to the CCPC for hosting an engaging and insightful event and for bringing together so many public bodies committed to delivering better outcomes for consumers.
