Stay Safe, Stay Away from Bonfires this Halloween 🎃

As Halloween approaches, Dublin City Council is reminding everyone of the importance of celebrating safely and responsibly.

🔥 Bonfires are strictly prohibited. They can cause significant damage to our parks, green spaces and playing pitches, release harmful pollutants into the environment and pose serious risks to public safety.

Under Sections 32 and 34 of the Waste Management Act, it is an offence to hold or transport materials intended for bonfires.

We encourage everyone to play their part in keeping our communities safe and protecting our local environment this Halloween.

📞 To report bonfire materials, contact 222 8870 or email [email protected].

Let's work together to ensure a safe and enjoyable Halloween for all.
