A Lovely Morning of Connection and Peer Support 🩷☕️

We had a lovely morning last Thursday in our Support and Advocacy office, as our Trauma-Informed Steering Group hosted a wonderful coffee morning for staff.

It was a great opportunity for colleagues to come together, connect, engage in peer support, and take a little time out of their busy days to pause and recharge.

A big well done and thank you to everyone involved in organising such a lovely morning and helping to create a supportive space for staff to connect and look after one another. 🩷

It was a pleasure to welcome the team, share our approach, and exchange ideas on creating meaningful learning opportunities for adults and communities.

Always a pleasure to collaborate, learn, and share best practice! 🤝

A great day of learning, reflection and self-care for our Good Shepherd Cork team

Our team really enjoyed Staff Wellbeing: Recognizing & Responding to Vicarious Trauma, exploring compassion fatigue, managing stress, professional boundaries and practical ways to look after ourselves.

A big thank you to Aoife and Susan for such an insightful and valuable session! 🌿✨
