🧮 We kicked off Maths Week Ireland with a visit to Clondrohid National School for our Mathsworks Mobile Workshop!

🦀We’ve had lots of fun with Explorers Education Programme this week and the schools who came to visit!

🪸The classes have enjoyed observing some of our native sea life that call our shallow waters home. Our two spotted dog fish are very popular!

🐋We’ve discovered the sizes of some of the marine life that are found off the coast of Ireland, we even measured the size of a blue whale against students from St Michael’s!

🔬Our young marine scientists explored food webs and examined plankton under the microscope and even had marine animal quiz relay races!

⚒️We’re delighted to welcome visitors back to the historic Old Cork Waterworks Experience. The original wooden beams in the Horizontal Beam Room have been carefully restored and we hope they will last another 200 years!
