Sorted now thank you!

Long Shot!

Does anyone still have a little pale green booklet that St. Brigids National School did around 2005/2006. It was a little recipe book they made from collecting old recipes. They had a recipe for the chocolate brownies. There was a tidy up in our house and the booklet went missing. Many thanks

Tomorrow, we'll be launching our full programme of events for Heritage Week (15th - 23rd August), and as you'll see we have a packed programme of talks, family-friendly events, demonstrations, and even drama! Before the full launch, we wanted to get the word out about this event that we'll be holding in Convoy's Black Memorial Hall on Wednesday 19th August at 7pm.

In the coming weeks, we'll be putting a call out to the community around East Donegal for photographs, stories, artefacts, or anything else that might help us tell the story of the Strabane Letterkenny Railway and the other lines that made their way through that part of the country. This event will feature a presentation (with photographs) on the history of the railways in the region, but it is also intended as a way of bringing the community together to share their memories and local knowledge on the subject. So if you or anyone you know is from that part of the world and has a story to tell, please let them know about this event and help us spread the word all the way from Convoy and Cornagillagh to Carrigans and Castlefinn - to name just a few places on the agenda for the evening!

This event is free and open to all, but we do ask that you book to let us know you'll be coming. If you have something to share in advance, get in touch on [email protected] or call us on 074 9722655!
