A busy week for our boys’ football teams!

Hard luck to our U17 boys, who lost 4–2 to Presentation, Warrenmount in their opening fixture of the season in the Leinster Junior Cup on Monday.

The boys put in an excellent performance, with many playing at U17 level for the first time. Goals came from Emmanuel Gabari and Nathaniel Slim. ⚽⚽

Their focus now turns to the league campaign, where they hope to enjoy a successful season. Thank you to Mr Crosbie and Mr Neeson for their support with the team.

A winning start for our senior boys!👏

Our senior boys began their season on Wednesday morning with an impressive 3–0 victory over Presentation CC Terenure in the first round of the Leinster Cup at the ETB grounds in Terenure.

St Kevin’s started strongly and took the lead through a well-taken finish from Nathaniel Slim. Both sides created chances, but the boys held their 1–0 advantage at half-time.

Presentation applied pressure early in the second half, but a solid St Kevin’s defence kept them at bay. Debutant Amir Ahmadi doubled the lead following good work down the left wing, before Hayden Smullen smashed home the third to seal the victory. ⚽⚽⚽

An excellent team performance, with several standout displays. Special congratulations to Cody McNevin, who was named Man of the Match!

Today we held a staff coffee morning to raise funds for Jigsaw and mark World Mental Health Day.

It was a lovely opportunity for staff to come together, enjoy a cuppa and support a cause that helps young people with their mental health.

A big thank you to Ms Carty for organising the morning and to Ms White for providing the delicious treats!

If you would like to support the fundraiser, you can donate through the attached link. Every contribution is greatly appreciated💚

As we approached the Feast of St Francis of Assisi, our school community gathered last week for our first Blessing of Animals, with a special blessing for our very own Walt. 🐾

Father Hugh Kavanagh led the ceremony. St Francis taught us to see all creation as family, reminding us to care for animals, nature and the world we share. 🌿

Father Hugh also presented our Ember Team with their training certificates, recognising their preparation for their role as mentors to younger students.

Thank you to Father Hugh and everyone who helped make the occasion so special🧡
