Irish Red Cross Cashel branch will take to the streets later this month demonstrating vital life-saving skills and calling on the public to get behind a new fundraising campaign.

We would really appreciate all your help with this project. Every cent raised will ensure that the members of the Cashel Branch can continue to serve our community.
Our members are all volunteers and give up their time freely week after week to cover community and sports events, carry out patient transfers and respond when no one else can.

PLEASE READ ! AND PLEASE SHARE !

As most of you will know, the Cashel Branch of the Irish Red Cross is made up entirely of volunteers, a group of people of all ages who have come together with one common set of goals - to help people as best we can, no matter what the situation.
Our dedicated members give up their time freely to be trained, to respond when something happens, to be there when you or a family member needs us, and to pass the lifesaving skills we possess on to as many as possible.

This October, the Irish Red Cross Nationaly is piloting a new campaign ( A Million Minutes ) to try and raise funds, raise awareness and pass a life saving skill that might make a difference to the life of someone you love and care about.

On October 24th, the members of the Cashel Branch will be doing our part to demonstrate the life saving skill of CPR to as many people in Cashel as possible.
With thanks to the management and staff of Supervalu in Cashel, we will be on site in their store to try and pass this amazing skill to as many of you as we can. And if you like what you see, then maybe you or someone you know might like to join our team and further enhance your lifesaving knowledge, or maybe even drop a couple of Euro in a donation bucket, which will allow us to continue training our members, so we can continue to be there when it matters.

We have also set up an I - Donate account (the QR code is in the picture attached) where you can make a donation of any size safely and securely to the Cashel Branch.
And you can be reassured to know that every cent raises, will go entirely to the local Cashel Branch to allow us to continue our work.

Thanks to all our members who gave up their time today to provide Ambulance cover at Tipperary Raceway. And especially to the birthday girl Kate who chose to spend her big day on duty with us.

Today, the Cashel Red Cross Branch were delighted to provide Ambulance cover for the annual 2 Johnnies 8km women's mini marathon in Cahir. It was amazing to see such a great number of athletes taking part in this event. As always, a huge thanks must go to our dedicated members who always give up their time freely to be there when it counts, ye are an amazing bunch.

And that's a wrap for the 2026 Wexford stages Rally. A great event as always and thanks to our colegues in Enniscorthy and Gorey Red Cross for having us along. It's always a pleasure to work with our neighbours in the sunny south East.
