🎉 **The wait is almost over!** 🎉

We’re delighted to announce that our fully refurbished playground will officially reopen this coming Saturday🛝

We’d like to thank everyone for your patience while we completed the final stages of the project. We know the reopening has taken a little longer than expected, and we sincerely apologise for the delay.

The unprecedented hot weather meant that the specialist safety surfacing could not be poured during the hottest parts of the day, as temperatures were simply too high for it to be installed safely and to the required standard. We worried about the rain delaying us but who would of thought a heat wave would đź«

The good news is that everything is now coming together, and we can’t wait to welcome children and families back to enjoy the fantastic new play space.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the playground this weekend! 🌞💚

📢 Community Notice: Playground Refurbishment Works 📢
We are delighted to share that works will soon begin on our community playground to help create a safer, brighter, and more inclusive space for local children and families.

🛠️ Playground Closure Notice
The playground will be closed from June 15th while works are carried out. We expect the refurbishment to take approximately three to four weeks, with the playground reopening as soon as works are completed. Please bear in mind construction times can vary due to weather.

We understand the temporary closure may cause some inconvenience and we greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and support while these important works are underway.

We look forward to welcoming the community back to an improved playground very soon. Updates will be shared on our social media channels throughout the project.

As the members of the Playground Committee we couldn’t be happier we are now at the stage for work to begin. This has been a long work in progress and during this time the current playground has deteriorated significantly. The much needed upgrades will have a huge beneficial impact to all users of the playground creating a safer, modern and more inclusive space.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. 🌳👧🛝👦
