On Wednesday, Bunclody Community College (BCC) welcomed Rotary representatives, Mr Michael Tierney and Ms Gina Arcari, to conduct the interviews for the Rotary Youth Leadership Competition.
Both representatives commented on the exceptionally high calibre of applications, with each candidate bringing their own unique qualities, style and perspective to the competition.
We are delighted to announce that Matt Roberts was selected as the winner and will proudly represent Bunclody Community College at the next stage of the competition on 9th November at the Newpark Hotel, Wexford.
Congratulations to all the participants on their efforts and achievements. We wish Matt the very best of luck in the next round!

Great to see interested 5th and 6th year students seriously considering their futures. Bunclody Community College was delighted to welcome Mr Jamie Cullinan from Maynooth University for an informative presentation to our 5th and 6th Year students who are considering university as their next step in education.
Jamie delivered an excellent presentation, providing a comprehensive overview of the wide range of courses available at Maynooth University. He also offered valuable insights into university life and the many opportunities available to students who choose to study there.

Congratulations to all the students who recieved their Junior Cert results today. The school is so genuinely proud of this group, not just because they achieved results substantially higher than the national average, but also because they reflect the excellent teaching and learning happening in BCC on a daily basis. Well done everyone. Enjoy a selection of photos as the students gathered to recieve their results, had a few words of wisdom from Principal, Dr. Trimble, before opening envelopes and enjoying a piece of cake!

A great opportunity to revisit key concepts while working together and putting their problem-solving skills to the test!
