🤩 🥳 🙋‍♀️ 🙋 What a fabulous event full of colour and gorgeous food prepared by our Ballina resident cooks from all over the world - the Global Kitchen afternoon last Sunday 11th October as part of Ballina Fringe Festival 2026 brought us all together over shared love of food and company.

We hope the photos help you relive some of the atmosphere and inspire you to cook great dishes at home.

Thank you to Ballina Fringe Festival for another great week of culture this year, to Mayo Volunteer Centre for coordinating the amazing cooks and volunteers, and to the culinary specialists themselves who shared their food and culture with us.

🚌 Great News for Craoibhín Ballina!

We are delighted to share that CLÁR Programme 2026 funding has been secured for a new community bus for Craoibhín Ballina.

For the people who use Craoibhín, this is about much more than a new vehicle. Reliable community transport helps people get out of their homes, meet others, take part in activities and stay connected to their community.
Moy Valley Resources IRD identified the CLÁR funding opportunity and worked closely with Craoibhín to progress the application, which was formally submitted by Moy Valley Community Services Programme.

Craoibhín has been part of Moy Valley Resources since it was first established through our initiative in 2008, and we are very proud to continue supporting the programme, its team and the people who use its services.

On behalf of Moy Valley Resources and Moy Valley Community Services Programme, we would also like to thank Minister Dara Calleary TD, and his office staff for their continued support and engagement with our organisation and the communities we serve.

A very positive investment in the future of Craoibhín and in helping people across Ballina and the surrounding area to remain active, independent and connected. 💚
