Great 18th meeting of 2025-26 set of meetings. Well done all speakers and role holders. Our next meeting on 23rd June will be the last of this series and we will meet again on Tues., 8th Sept. after our customary summer break.

As mentioned in the meeting, congratulations to all members for our club getting to Select Distinguished category 🙌✨

Of course, depending on where the members are and whether the Pathways system is updated etc., we have opportunities to explore to become Presidents' or Smedley Distinguished also 🎉

Great meeting on 26th May, as usual -- super set of speeches by Lorraine, Siobhan & Sarah. Well done to Eden on taking on the first role (of Timer) & doing it extremely well. Also, all the role holders on your active participation.

We had election of officers, with the following elected for July/Sept '26 - June '27 term.

President - Louise Reynolds
VP Education - Somesh Kumar
VP Membership - Nettie Musazhi
VP Public Relations - Monica Medina
Secretary - John Dolan
Treasurer - Sarah Watson
SAA/Failte Officer - Joseph Connor

Request everyone to please update your Pathways speech progress in toastmasters.org - personally we get great learnings by doing that, simultaneously we help the club to keep progressing on the Distinguished journey.

Thanks all who were able to make it & for your active participation. Great ice breaker speech by Suman & Compelling blog speech by Donal. All role holders have done a great job as usual & couple of guests with one potential member.

Our next meeting on 26th May is our AGM (+ semblance of normal meeting also) to elect the new committee for July/Sept. '26 to June '27 sessions.

Nominations are still open.

Thanks all for your active participation in making this meeting on 28th April a success.

Great work by Louise (Toastmaster), Avinash (Timer), Cathy (TopicsMaster), Sarah (Grammarian) & Terrie (GE).

Great speeches by Michael, Edward & Monica and equally good evaluations by Helen, Donal, & hopefully good from yours truly.

As mentioned by Monica please continue taking roles and doing speeches & we will continue to evolve to become a better version of ourselves in our communication & leadership journey..

Also, please consider to nominate yourself or another member (with their consent) for the 7 committee roles mentioned in the previous message. Would be great to get nominations for all the 7 roles as the AGM is planned for 26th May to confirm & elect our new committee 🙌🤝
