Meet Ketut 👋🐘 our amazing Park Manager here at

She's been part of the Mason Elephant Park family since 2000 and today helps oversee everything that happens across the park.

On any given day, you'll find her checking in with the team, making sure the park is running smoothly, and helping care for the 24 elephants that call Mason home ✨🐘

What she loves most about her job is arriving at the park each morning and seeing both the staff and elephants thriving 💚

To all the mothers who make our world softer, stronger and more loving 🤍🐘

Today, we celebrate the beautiful elephant mothers at our park:
Yanti, mom of Fajar
Fatimah, mom of Jegeg and Arjun
Ramona, mom of Ganteng
Eva, mom of Krisna
and Niki, mom of Risky, who will always be remembered

We also celebrate the incredible mothers who work with us every day, caring, guiding, and giving so much of themselves.

And to all the amazing moms visiting us from around the world!

To all of you…thank you for being you! Happy Mother’s Day 🤍

When our elephants first arrived at the park, many carried mental and physical trauma.

All were underweight and had poor skin condition after enduring difficult past environments

With time, care, and consistency, things changed:
•⁠ ⁠proper nutrition and daily monitoring
•⁠ ⁠ongoing veterinary care
•⁠ ⁠a safe and stable environment
•⁠ ⁠trust built through repetition and reward

Today, they are stronger, healthier, and more confident 🐘✨

They no longer need to worry about survival. Their daily needs are fully cared for, and they live safely with enrichment, stimulation, and constant protection.

Sadly, in parts of Sumatra that were once their home, habitat loss and human encroachment mean there is no longer a safe environment for them to return to.

Here at they have a secure and loving place to call home 🤍🐘
