In the name of Allāh, Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy.
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all creation, and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and all his Companions.
⚠️ Dr. Sulaymān al-Ruhaylī is scheduled to come to the UK in July 2022, and he has aligned himself with a group of fitnah-makers, betrayers and haters in order to dismantle the daʿwah in the UK that we've collectively built over the last 30 years by the Grace of Allah and His Bounty―this Daʿwah that is established upon the Salafi Manhaj, the teachings of the scholars such as al-Albānī, Ibn Bāz, Ibn ʿUthaimīn, Muhammad Amān al-Jāmī, Muqbil ibn Hādī al-Wādiʿī, Ṣālih al-Fawzān and Rabīʿ al-Madkhalī―which is path of Muḥammad Ibn ʿAbdul-Wahhāb, Ibn al-Qayyim, Ibn Taymiyyah, and before them Ibn Battah, al-Barbahārī, Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, al-Shāfi’ī, Mālik ibn Anas, al-Awzāʿī and others from the early Salaf, may Allāh’s mercy be upon them.
🎙 So, we warn against his gatherings, against the group that has brought him and those who seek to promote them. It is in these situations that ahlul-Ḥaqq (the people of truth) show their steadfastness upon the blessed Salafi Manhaj. So, may Allah aid Ahlus-Sunnah, they are the People of Ḥadīth, the Salafis.
Many like al-Ruḥaylī have come before and failed: al-Maʿrabī, al-Ḥalabī, Wasīʿullāh ʿAbbās, etc.,―and he too will fail, inshā'-Allāh.
Sulaymān al-Ruḥaylī praises Muhammad ibn Hādī―a convicted slanderer (qādhif) who has split the ranks of ahlus-Sunnah in every land―and has been refuted by al-ʿAllāmah Rabīʿ al-Madkhalī, al-ʿAllāmah ʿUbayd al-Jābirī and other scholars.
Al-Ruḥaylī described Ibn Hādī as an ʿālim, mujāhid, ṣābir after he was refuted by the ʿulamā! Shaykh Rabīʿ was asked whether he warns against Sulaymān al-Ruḥaylī, so he responded, “Yes, I warn against anyone who aids Muhammad Ibn Hādī.”
And now, Dr Sulaymān al-Ruḥaylī has joined up with a group known for fitnah (discord) and hizbiyyah which has no connection to any one of the numerous and well-known Salafī Masājid and Marakiz in the UK.
He has turned away from the stances of the major scholars and the proofs, and works with this group. His behaviour is not praiseworthy―it is upon him to rectify his affair, hold fast to his elders from the scholars, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, speak with the truth and abandon his praise and companionship of the wrong-doers.
May Allāh aid ahlus-Sunnah, and repel all those who seek to disunite their ranks. Bārakallāhu fīkum.
