We will soon be launching a new space for views to enjoy soon in Poughkeepsie! 🏠Right now the space is getting refreshed with some new paint, decor and a renovated bathroom! This home really has some vintage charm to it and I can’t wait to see the finished results! We hope to fully launch this baby in May!

I have been watching this unfold since the very beginning and if you know where I’m from then you know this is something very dear and near to my heart. My town Boqueron, Cabo Rojo , Puerto Rico has been under such a tremendous fight. Along with many other disastrous projects trying to occur all around the Island, Cabo Rojo is facing some that will be destructive to the habitat, ecosystem, water & power and most importantly: the people. This is a 2 billion dollar project overtaking 2,000 acres of land and is slated to be “the paradise” of the Caribbean with private schools, airports, and more for the elites. My people have no benefit to this at all at the expense of our land and homes being threatened. We worry about our access to the beach and other parts of our town. I speak on behalf of all the people in Cabo Rojo when I say: We do not want nor need Escencia! Please help me in fighting this monstrosity of a project- I want my children and their generations to know and love the land just as I and who came before me did. There are a few rallies happening and if you want to show support please show up! Sign the petition! And say proudly and loudly: ESCENCIA NO VA!!!!!!!!!!!

My son took this photo of me today…. I asked him “ Papa you took a picture of me working?” He said, “Yep because you look so cute mama!” 🤣🤣😍😍💕 well, this is me in my element. The face of someone whose mind is constantly thinking….runs on three or four coffees a day… and yes, is a bit tired! But I love what I do and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world! ( Looking cute to my kids while working is a bonus! 🤣🥰) This is the face, heart, and soul of Renta Caza folks! Take her or leave her! Happy Friday everyone!!!!

Today my son came to me with a question from school: “How can an idea grow a business?

My answer was simple—don’t let fear stop you.

So many people have amazing ideas, but fear keeps them from ever starting. But with that fear also comes the excitement of starting something new and watching your idea come to life—and there’s truly no better feeling than that.

What’s the worst that can happen? You try, it doesn’t work, so you try a different way… and then another… until something finally does.

Some of the greatest businesses started with just one idea and the courage to go for it.

And don’t be afraid to ask others for help along the way. We all start somewhere, and there’s room for all of us to succeed.

I also have to thank my father, who planted in me the love for business and was one of the people who pushed me toward my greatness. (Love you Daddy!)

Happy 5th Birthday, Renta Caza!!!!!!
Five years ago today, this dream became real.
As I say every year, this business was named and started in honor of my beautiful grandmother, Luz Maria who I lost on this very same day. She was more than my grandmother, she was a mother to me. I looked up to her in every way. Her hard work, determination, tenacity, beautiful heart, and God-fearing spirit shaped the woman I am today.
When she left this earth, I promised I would honor her in big ways. Renta Caza is one of the biggest promises I’ve kept.
I’ve had people reach out from my beautiful island of Puerto Rico offering to buy this company. And time and time again, I’ve said no. Because this isn’t just a business. It’s legacy. It’s love. It’s family. It’s her.
We come from the beautiful fishing town of Boquerón, Puerto Rico where she was born and raised, and where some of my most cherished memories live. It’s also where I got married in 2019. I remember being a little girl on that beach telling my grandma, “When I grow up, I’m going to get married here.” And she told me, “All of your dreams can come true.”
She was right.
I married in the place I’ve loved my whole life. And I built the business I once only dreamed of.
Renta Caza has grown slowly, softly, privately, and tenderly…because this business is my everything. And the biggest reason it exists… is her.
Happy Birthday, Renta Caza. We are growing and shining in ways I could have never imagined.

A year ago today, I wrote these words… and I felt every single one of them.
This post is for anyone just starting out — or for the entrepreneur who feels like giving up. I see you. I’ve BEEN you. I’m STILL you!
When I first started my concierge business years ago, no one believed in me. People questioned me. They doubted the vision. And some days… it hurt.
But look at God. 🙏🏽
Now many of those same people are watching, asking, and interested in what I’m building.
I also know how important a strong support system is — but hear me clearly:
Whether you have support or not…
Whether things are happening fast or taking forever…
Do not give up. Do not stop.
Like my great-grandmother always said:
✨ “Si naciste para hacer pasteles, ¡las hojas caerán del cielo!” ✨
(What God has for you, no one can take away.)
