HOTMEALS AID PROGRAM IN KHAN YOUNES
Emergency Food Initiative in Southern Gaza

(30/08) Rumah Zakat launched the Hotmeals Program in Khan Younes to address the acute hunger crisis affecting the entire Gaza Strip. This ready-to-eat meal distribution initiative was designed to provide a fast nutritional solution for communities facing severe food insecurity.

Thanks to the support of the donors, the program successfully distributed 432 Hotmeals packages to vulnerable residents of Khan Younes. Each package contained nutritious meals ready for consumption without the need for further preparation.

The emergency situation in Gaza has severely limited people’s access to cooking facilities and raw food supplies. Hotmeals have become a vital alternative to help maintain daily nutritional intake and prevent malnutrition among vulnerable groups.

The program was prepared in emergency kitchens by Rumah Zakat’s field team, with multi-point distribution channels ensuring optimal reach. Strict monitoring was implemented to uphold food safety standards and ensure effective distribution.

Ahad, 28 Juli 2024 Rumah Zakat Bekasi bekerja sama dengan RSUD Jatisampurna menyelenggarakan khitanan massal untuk 70 anak dari keluarga pra sejahtera kota Bekasi dan sekitarnya. Rumah Zakat juga mengakomodir transportasi anak-anak dari rumahnya menuju lokasi khitan di RSUD Jatisampurna. Setelah khitan anak-anak ini diberikan bingkisan dan uang saku.
