Penyelenggaraan hari pertama ISODEL 2021 diawali oleh sambutan Sesjen Kemdikbudristek, Ir. Suharti dilanjutkan pembukaan oleh Mendikbudristek Nadiem Anwar Makarim.

Dilanjutkan dengan Pembicara utama Duta Besar Indonesia Selandia Baru, Tantowi Yahya.

Turut hadir juga Menteri Keuangan Sri Mulyani, untuk menyampaikan paparan materi.
