You speak English, don't you?
A tag question is a special
construction in English. It is a
statement followed by a mini-
question. The whole sentence is a
"tag question", and the mini-
question at the end is called a
"question tag".
A "tag" is something small that we
add to something larger. For
example, the little piece of cloth
added to a shirt showing size or
washing instructions is a tag.
We use tag questions at the end of
statements to ask for confirmation.
They mean something like: "Am I
right?" or "Do you agree?" They are
very common in English.
The basic structure is:
statement question tag
Positive statement negative tag?
Snow is white isn't it?
Negative statement positive tag?
You don't like me, do you?

angan digunakan untuk
menyatakan serta untuk
mengungkapkan harapan yang
tidak dapat terpenuhi.
- Future
Rumus : S¹ + wish + S² + could/
would + V¹/be
Contoh :
I wish you would stop saying that.
(saya berharap kamu akan
berhenti mengatakan itu)
I wish she would come to my party
to night
(saya berharap dia akan dapat
datang ke pesta saya minggu ini)
- Present
Rumus : S¹ + wish + S² + V2/were
Contoh :
I wish you were old enough to
marry me.
(saya berharap sekarang ini
umurmu cukup tua untuk
menikahi saya)
They wish they didn’t have to go to
school today.
(mereka berharap sekarang ini
mereka tidak harus pergi sekolah)
- Past
Rumus : S¹ + wished + S² + had V3/
could have V3
Contoh :
She wished she had had more time
last night.
(saya berharap tadi malam dia
punya banyak waktu)

TO GET + adjective = to become,
show a change of state:
Examples
It's getting hotter.
By the time they reached the house
they were getting hungry.
I'm getting tired of all this
nonsense.
My mother's getting old and needs
looking after.
It gets dark very early in the
winter.

He got on his bicycle and rode
down the street.
He gets up at 6.00 a.m. every
morning.
She got out of the washing-up
every day, even when it was her
turn.
We got off the train just before the
bomb exploded.
We've got through all the sugar -
can you buy some more?
The children are very quiet - I
wonder what they're getting up to.

Ketika rapat Para Guru berlangsung dengan Kepala Sekolah, tiba² terdengar suara angin yang dibarengi aroma tidak sedap. Guru yang lain pun mengomentari.

Guru Matematika : "Sesuatu yang tidak bisa dikali namun baunya bisa dibagi²...!!!"

Guru Kesenian : "Bunyi nadanya terletak pada kunci K...!!!"

Guru Fisika : "Inilah yang di sebut INNER POWER, tenaga ya
ng di gunakan kecil namun hasilnya luar biasa...!!!"

Guru Biologi : "Inilah ciri makhluk hidup melanjutkan hidupnya...!!!"

Guru Agama : "Ini salah satu penyebab batalnya wudhu dan shalat...!!!"

Guru Geografi : "Posisi keberadaannya mengikuti arah mata angin...!!!"

Guru Sosiolog : "Perilaku menyimpang pada sikap manusia...!!!"

Guru Sejarah : "Salah satu penyebab terjadinya perang mulut...!!!"

Guru Bahasa : "Kalimat bisa di tulis namun aromanya tak bisa di ungkapkan dengan kata²...!!!"

Kepala Sekolah : "Saya yang kentut...!!! Kenapa...??? !!! Masalah buat Kalian...???!!!
