🌿 Tonight, Lithuania celebrates one of its most magical nights of the year – Midsummer.
Known as Joninės or Rasos, this is when the country stays awake for the shortest night of the year: bonfires light up the hills, rivers and lakeshores; people weave flower and oak wreaths; songs carry through the warm summer air; and the brave go searching for the mythical fern blossom – a symbol of luck, wisdom and love.
