The Entry/Exit System marks a new era in border security. 29 European countries using the EES digitally record non-EU nationals travelling for short stays. They will hold reliable data on who crosses the borders with a foreign passport. Thanks to the EES, Europe is a safer place for all.

24 February 2026, marks the fourth year of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine - and every day since, Ukraine has been fighting a brave battle for their own and Europe's security.

In the midst of war – and with support from Denmark - young Ukrainians are reclaiming their rights to be young and to be heard. The Ukrainian-Danish Youth Houses in Kyiv and Mykolaiv offer spaces for free speech, political dialogue, culture and community.

The Youth Houses help youngsters meet and connect 🇺🇦 because young people need both safety and shared purpose. They need hope and ways to influence their future.

Did you know that the Danish support to Ukraine amounts to a total of approximately EUR 10.8 billion? This makes Denmark the largest provider of military support to Ukraine relative to population and the 4th largest contributor in absolute numbers.​
