Consulate General of Malaysia in Hong Kong was delighted to support the Malaysian Association of Hong Kong’s (MAHK) Malaysia Day celebratory luncheon at Hotel ICON on 6 September 2026.

A proud highlight of the event was the successful setting of a world record, with 249 participants dancing the traditional Malay Joget while holding Jalur Gemilang.

Congratulations to the MAHK team, led by Chairperson Wong Yuen Zhan and Deputy Chairperson Elishah Tan, not only for the day’s memorable festivities but also for the year’s successful calendar of MAHK events.

🇲🇾🇲🇴 Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, H.E. Sam Hou Fai, has arrived in Malaysia for a Working Visit from 2 to 5 September 2026. This marks his inaugural visit to Malaysia since assuming office as the 4th Chief Executive of Macao in 2024.

This visit reflects the existing cordial relations between Malaysia and Macao, and provides opportunities to strengthen ties and explore new avenues of cooperation.
