The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library CUHK Library aims to offer you outstanding collections, services and study spaces.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library was established in 1963 to serve the then newly founded Chinese University of Hong Kong. It coordinates the collections and services of the University Library (founded 1965) and the branch libraries: Chung Chi College Elisabeth Luce Moore Library (founded 1951), New Asia College Ch'ien Mu Library (founded 1949), United College Wu Chung Multimedia Library (founded 1956), Li Ping Medical Library (founded 1980) at the teaching hospital complex in Shatin, the Architecture Library (founded 1994) and the Lee Quo Wei Law Library (founded 2004). The administration of the CUHK Library is centralized under the University Librarian.

香港中文大學圖書館於1963年創校時成立，負責統籌大學圖書館及各分館之庋藏及服務。成員包括大學圖書館（1965年成立）、崇基學院牟路思怡圖書館（1951年成立）、新亞書院錢穆圖書館（1949年成立）、聯合書院胡忠多媒體圖書館（1956年成立）、建築學圖書館（1994年成立）、利國愇法律圖書館（2004年成立）以及位於沙田之教學醫院的李炳醫學圖書館（1980年成立）。各館之行政均由香港中文大學圖書館館長統籌。

🪄𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨-𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐂. 𝐍. 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐠'𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬

CUHK Library's Data Analytics Practice Opportunity (DAPO) Programme demonstrates students’ innovative application of data analytics and visualisation skills to real-world datasets and digitised records. One project from the 2025/26 cohort, From Correspondence to Coauthorship: Reconstructing C. N. Yang's Transpacific Academic Network History, explores the life and scholarly networks of Nobel Prize-winning physicist Professor C. N. Yang through archival materials from The CN Yang Archive and public bibliographic data provided by CUHK’s Department of Physics.

Through the analysis of scholarly collaborations, personal correspondence, and archival photographs, the student team uncovered how Yang's academic and personal networks evolved across countries and decades. The students also created two interactive visualisations: a correspondence map that illustrates Yang's global communication network, and Journey of Yang, an interactive map tracing his life and movements across the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, the United States, and beyond.
