✨【Major Event for Hong Kong’s Arts Community – The 20th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards • Applications Open from 16 Sep】✨

Organised by Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the 20th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards launches under the theme “Celebrate Excellence • Inspire Creativity”, continuing to honour outstanding arts practitioners, arts organisations, schools and sponsors who shape our vibrant cultural landscape.

Starting this year, the Awards will be held biennially, alternating with the Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo each October – working together to make October a highlight for the arts in Hong Kong.

💡 What’s New This Year?
1️⃣ Increased Cash Award: The “Artist of the Year” and “Young Artist Award” now offer HK$100,000 and HK$50,000 respectively, providing even greater support for local arts talent.🏅
2️⃣ Brand-New Online Platform: The entire application process is now fully digital — register, fill out the form, and submit, all online.📮

【藝術行政人員培訓計劃聚會：重聚・燃亮新動力】

香港藝術發展局（藝發局）於8 月27日舉辦首個「藝術行政人員培訓計劃聚會」，超過50位歷屆曾參與培訓的藝文領袖共聚一堂。

自2008/09年度起，藝發局已累計資助及培訓超過750名藝術行政人員。我們樂見歷屆參與者現於不同藝文機構擔當要職，展現本局多年來推動人才培育的成果。

行政總裁曾淑儀女士指，未來將繼續為不同級別的藝術行政人員提供培訓機會，為業界培育人才。

【Training for Arts Administrators - Alumni Connect: Reunion and Ignite】

The Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) hosted its first-ever Arts Administrators Alumni Gathering on 27 August, bringing together over 50 arts administrators who have participated in HKADC’s training initiatives.

Since 2008/09, HKADC has supported and trained over 750 arts administrators. We are thrilled to see our alumni now holding key roles across various arts and cultural organisations, embodying HKADC’s dedication to nurturing talent.

Chief Executive Ms Pheon Tsang said HKADC will continue to provide training opportunities for arts administrators at all levels, nurturing talents for the industry.

今次推出兩場針對數碼營銷的工作坊吸引不少藝文同業參與，協助大家緊貼行業發展同提升機構營運。

工作坊分別由香港職業訓練局高峰進修學院、香港大學專業進修學院的資深廣告和媒體行業導師Marco及 Eddy Hui 任教，由淺入深講解人工智能和市場推廣技巧，傳授實用數碼營銷心得並分享案例，提升學員推廣本地藝術作品的能力。

Organised by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the “Arts Management Skills Training Programme 2026” was successfully held in July!

The programme featured two Digital Marketing Workshops, drawing arts administrators who eager to keep up with industry trends and enhance organisational operations to join.

The Programme will explore a wide spectrum of topics related to “Digital Marketing” to equip participants with the fundamental skills in applying digital channels strategically for effective marketing.
