The Consulado General de México en Hong Kong invites you to its September session of CineClub on September 24, 2026 at 6:30pm. 🗓️

This month, we will screen “Arráncame la Vida” (2008) directed by Roberto Sneider and based on the novel by Ángeles Mastretta. 🎬

El pasado 12 de septiembre, el Consulado General de México celebró el 216º aniversario del inicio de la Independencia de México con la Ceremonia del Grito con la comunidad mexicana en Hong Kong. 🇭🇰

El acto fue presidido por el Embajador Pablo Macedo, Cónsul General de México en Hong Kong, y reunió a la comunidad residente en Hong Kong. Se rindieron honores a la bandera nacional, se dio el tradicional Grito de Independencia y se entonó el Himno Nacional Mexicano.

Como parte del evento se expuso una selección de fotografías que documentan la exitosa participación de atletas mexicanos rarámuris en el Ultra Maratón de Hong Kong; asimismo, la celebración contó con la presencia de luchadores profesionales mexicanos que intervinieron en una función de la HKWF - Hong Kong Pro Wrestling Federation.
