【海事處及香港船東會合辦「2026年聯合午宴暨頒獎典禮」】
海事處聯同香港船東會今日（6月12日）合辦「2026年聯合午宴暨頒獎典禮」，以感謝一眾香港船東和航運公司的支持，並推廣香港船舶註冊處和香港船東會的服務。
運輸及物流局副局長廖振新擔任主禮嘉賓，並在午宴啟席時致辭。他在席上為船東傳報佳音，宣布海事處將於六月十六日推出「綠色船用燃料相關船隻港口費優惠計劃」及「綠色船舶註冊優惠計劃」，分別為在香港使用或加注綠色船用燃料的遠洋船舶以及在港註冊的綠色燃料船舶提供優惠，以助降低航運業轉用綠色船用燃料的成本、加速香港船隊綠色轉型，並加快把香港建設成綠色港口。海事處特地編印宣傳單張，介紹兩項優惠計劃的詳情，並在午宴現場派發。
廖振新副局長、海事處處長王世發、香港船東會主席Richard Hext聯同多位政府官員，向多間船公司頒發獎項，以表彰他們的團隊過去一年致力追求優質香港註冊船舶的卓越表現，並在國際海事組織制訂的國際減碳標準中獲得高評級成績，同時嘉許船員在海上救援的英勇行為，以及船公司對培育香港年輕海事人才的支持。
今年亦首度增設特別獎項「2026海事處-世界航商大會ESG獎」，以鼓勵更多香港船東及船舶營運公司採用世界航商大會ESG評級標準2.0，積極推動綠色環保實踐與社會責任。
由海事處與香港船東會攜手舉辦的午宴暨頒獎典禮，是香港海事行業一年一度的盛事。今年活動共有約230位來自航運界的代表和貴賓出席，充分體現業界對是次盛會的重視與支持。

【Marine Department and Hong Kong Shipowners Association host “2026 Joint Luncheon cm Award Presentation Ceremony” 】
The Marine Department (MD) and the Hong Kong Shipowners Association (HKSOA) jointly hosted the “2026 Joint Luncheon cm Award Presentation Ceremony” today (June 12). The event was organised to express appreciation for the support of shipowners and shipping companies, as well as to promote the services offered by the Hong Kong Shipping Registry (HKSR) and HKSOA.
The Under Secretary for Transport and Logistics, Mr Liu Chun-sun, acted as the Guest of Honour and delivered a keynote speech at the beginning of the luncheon. During his speech, he announced some promising news for shipowners, confirming that the MD would launch the Port Dues Incentive Scheme for Green Maritime Fuel-related Vessels and the Green Vessels Registration Incentive Scheme on June 16. These schemes will provide concessions for ocean-going vessels powered by or bunkering with green maritime fuels in Hong Kong, as well as for green vessels registered in Hong Kong. The aim of these schemes is to help reduce the cost of transitioning to green maritime fuels by the maritime industry, encourage the green transformation of Hong Kong fleet, and accelerate the development of Hong Kong as a green port. The MD has produced promotional leaflets to introduce the details of the two incentive schemes, which were distributed at the luncheon.
Mr Liu Chun-sun; Director of Marine, Mr Wong Sai-fat; Chairman of the HKSOA, Mr Richard Hext, and other government officials presented a number of awards to winning shipping companies in recognition of their outstanding performance in pursuing high-quality Hong Kong-registered ships; achieving high ratings under the international standards on decarbonisation formulated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO); the bravery of the masters and crew on the high seas; and the support of shipping companies in nurturing young maritime talent in Hong Kong over the past year.
This year, a special award, “2026 MD-WMMF ESG Award”, was also introduced to encourage more Hong Kong shipowners and operators to champion green and environmental practices and social responsibilities by adopting the WMMF Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Rating Standards 2.0.
Jointly organised by the MD and HKSOA, the luncheon cm award presentation ceremony is an annual flagship event for the maritime industry in Hong Kong. Around 230 representatives from the maritime sector and distinguished guests attended this year’s event, reflecting the industry’s recognition of and support for this significant occasion.
