德國聯邦政府人權政策與人道主義援助專員、國會議員 Lars Castellucci 先生，就 1989 年 #六四 中國民主運動遭受殘酷鎮壓 37 週年發表聲明：

自 2020 年起，在香港悼念這段中國歷史悲劇的活動亦被禁止。過去數十年來，當天舉行的和平燭光晚會曾是這座城市最具代表性的傳統；而如今，這些晚會的組織者卻在法庭上面臨起訴。這當中包括「香港市民支援愛國民主運動聯合會」（支聯會），以及 2023 年「德法人權及法治獎」得主鄒幸彤女士。

Statement by Mr. Lars Castellucci, MP, Federal Government Commissioner for Human Rights Policy and Humanitarian Assistance, on the 37th anniversary of the brutal crackdown on the Chinese democracy movement on , 1989.

Since 2020, commemorations of this tragic event in Chinese history have also been banned in Hong Kong. Instead, organizers of these peaceful vigils held that day – a defining tradition of this city for decades – are now being prosecuted in its courts. This includes the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China and Mrs. Chow Hang-tung, who was awarded the 2023 Franco-German Prize for Human Rights and the Rule of Law.

🕊️ Peace takes staying power – and principles.

Yesterday, at the UN General Assembly, Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul set out Germany’s approach to mediation and conflict resolution. It is an approach that stands apart: not imposing solutions from the outside, but creating space for diplomacy.

What Germany stands for in mediation:
✅ Established multilateral frameworks anchored in the UN
✅ Inclusive processes – civil society, women, and young people from the start
✅ Local ownership – solutions must be owned by those affected
✅ Long-term commitment, not short-term interests
✅ Humanitarian responsibility as part of any peace process

Sudan. Libya. Haiti. Germany’s engagement is concrete, multilateral, and long-term.

Germany made a promise when we joined the UN: to work towards peace and stability. A promise that we keep.

🍽️ 從世界級設施到精緻廚藝！

本週，總領事到訪咗國際廚藝學院（ICI），展開咗一場收穫滿滿嘅參觀與對話。

學院課程經理 Henrik Jonsson 帶領我哋參觀咗令人印象深刻嘅校園。由最先進嘅廚房設施到訓練酒店，ICI 為香港後生一代嘅廚藝專業人才提供咗世界級嘅培訓機會。特別令我哋大開眼界嘅，係學生們精雕細琢嘅朱古力雕刻同埋一系列精緻嘅美食傑作——完美展現出烹飪與款待業絕對係一門真正嘅藝術！🍫🎨

總領事寶德雅博士衷心感謝 Jonsson 先生同佢嘅團隊。喺今年嘅歐洲日慶祝活動上，ICI 對德國攤位提供咗大力支持。學生們親手製作嘅一口大小德式薄餅（Flammkuchen）同黑森林蛋糕大受歡迎！🇩🇪🍰

參觀結束後，我哋享用咗一頓極之出色嘅中式午餐，並喺輕鬆愉快嘅氣氛下，與院長葉漢鵬先生進行咗深入嘅交流。

憑著 ICI 一直同包括 IHK Koblenz 在內嘅德國職業培訓夥伴保持合作，我哋睇到德國傳統嘅「職業培訓」與香港 VTC（職業訓練局）嘅架構之間，有著極大嘅協同效應。

我哋期待未來繼續深化呢份珍貴嘅合作關係！🤝

🍽️ From world-class facilities to exquisite culinary arts!

This week, our Consul General visited the International Culinary Institute (ICI) for an inspiring tour and exchange.

Program Director Henrik Jonsson guided us through the institute’s impressive campus. From state-of-the-art kitchens to the trainee hotel, the training opportunities available to Hong Kong’s young generation of culinary talent are world-class. In particular, we were deeply impressed by the intricate chocolate sculptures and stunning edible masterpieces crafted by the students – proving that gastronomy and hospitality are true art forms! 🍫🎨

CG Bolten-Drutschmann extended a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Jonsson and his team for the ICI’s amazing support for the German booth at this year’s EU Day reception. The students’ bite-sized Flammkuchen and Black Forest cakes were a massive hit, beautifully underscoring the strong ties between Germany and Hong Kong in vocational education! 🇩🇪🍰

Following the tour, we enjoyed an outstanding Chinese lunch, which provided a wonderful setting for an enriching dialogue with Principal Mr James YAP Han-phong.

Given the ICI’s ongoing cooperation with German vocational training partners, including the IHK Koblenz, we see immense synergy between Germany’s traditional dual education system and the VTC framework.

We look forward to further strengthening these valuable ties! 🤝

係今年康城影展（Cannes Film Festival），德國嘅電影才華可謂大放異彩！首先要狂賀導演 Valeska Grisebach，佢憑住競賽首作《Das geträumte Abenteuer》（英譯：The Dreamed Adventure）一舉奪得份量十足嘅評審團獎（Jury Prize）！🏆

另外，波蘭名導 Paweł Pawlikowski 亦憑住話題作《Vaterland》（Fatherland）勇奪最佳導演。呢套戲講述諾貝爾文學獎得主湯瑪斯·曼（Thomas Mann）同女兒 Erika 嘅戰後恩怨情仇，仲有德國好戲之人 Sandra Hüller、Hanns Zischler 同 August Diehl 傾力演出，班底勁到爆燈，攞獎絕對係實至名歸！

今年一班優秀嘅電影人成功將德國 Storytelling 帶上國際大舞台，為德語片爭光，Respect！🎉

全場最高榮譽、問鼎最佳影片嘅「金棕櫚獎」（Palme d’Or），最終由羅馬尼亞導演 Cristian Mungiu 執導嘅虐心大 legitimate 劇作《Fjord》奪得。

German talent shone brightly throughout the festival: Huge congratulations to director Valeska Grisebach, who has won the prestigious Jury Prize for her brilliant competition debut Das geträumte Abenteuer (The Dreamed Adventure)! 🏆

Polish director Paweł Pawlikowski was awarded the prize for Best Director for the acclaimed post-war drama Vaterland (Fatherland) about Nobel Prize-winning writer Thomas Mann and his daughter Erika – starring German actors Sandra Hüller, Hanns Zischler and August Diehl.

A massive congratulations to all the incredible filmmakers putting German storytelling on the global map this year! 🎉

The coveted Palme d’Or for Best Film went to the Romanian drama Fjord by Cristian Mungiu.

✈️ 歐盟最新「出入境系統 (EES)」現已啟用！
如果你準備從香港出發去德國或者其他申根地區（包括所有歐盟成員國，以及挪威、列支敦士登、冰島同瑞士），就記得留意喇！

非歐盟旅客（包括香港特區護照及 BNO 持有人）出入境時，機場系統將會全面數碼化，改為透過生物特徵（面部圖像同指紋）紀錄出入境資料。此安排適用於任何 180 天期內、停留最多 90 天嘅短期逗留。詳請我哋一齊去片！

⏳ 領事館提示：
各大機場正陸續適應數碼系統，邊境管制嘅過關時間或會有所調整。我哋建議大家，喺抵達德國或歐洲機場入境時，記得預留充足嘅過關時間啊！

✈️ Planning a trip from Hong Kong to Germany or the Schengen Area (all EU member states as well as Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Switzerland) soon? Say goodbye to traditional passport stamps!
The EU’s new Entry/Exit System (EES) is now fully operational. Non-EU travelers (including Hong Kong SAR and BNO passport holders) will now have their entry and exit registered digitally via biometric data (facial images and fingerprints) at airport kiosks. This applies to short stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

More and latest information about the EES and its exemptions can be found on our website.

⏳ Consulate Tip: As airports adjust to the digital system, border control processing times may vary. We highly recommend giving yourself plenty of extra time when arriving at or transiting through German airports!
