The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong SAR proudly joined the nation in celebrating the ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐€๐ซ๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ๐ž๐ฅ๐š๐ ๐ข๐œ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก (๐Œ๐€๐๐€ ๐Œ๐จ) ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” with a Flag Raising Ceremony held on Sunday, 06 September 2026 at the Filipino Workers Development and Social Centre (FWDSC), 18/F United Centre, Admiralty. The Consulate Generalโ€™s officers and staff, partner agencies, and members of the Filipino community came together in blue attire to symbolize unity under this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œ๐‘ฒ๐’‚๐’“๐’‚๐’‘๐’‚๐’•๐’‚๐’ ๐’”๐’‚ ๐‘ฒ๐’‚๐’“๐’‚๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’•๐’‚๐’, ๐‘บ๐’‚๐’Ž๐’‚-๐‘บ๐’‚๐’Ž๐’‚ ๐‘ต๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐‘จ๐’๐’‚๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’‚๐’.โ€

Consul General Romulo Victor M. Israel, Jr., in his message to the Filipino Community read by Vice Consul David Bien P. Paje, reminded the community that the seas sustain life and livelihood, and urged Filipinos to embrace the responsibility of protecting our maritime resources while peacefully defending our maritime entitlements under international law.

In her video message, Secretary of Foreign Affairs Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro stressed that the countryโ€™s maritime future depends on collective action, cooperation, and stewardship to ensure a secure, sustainable and thriving oceans for generations to come.

The message of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., as delivered by Consul Von Ryan S. Ferrera, reminded everyone that the countyโ€™s waters shape the life of the country and emphasized the significance of this yearโ€™s observance coinciding with the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award.

In solidarity with the Philippine Government, the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong reaffirms its commitment and duty to uphold and spread awareness of the countryโ€™s maritime entitlements, heritage and responsibility.

Today, 14 September 2026, is the LAST DAY of the special joint operations of the SSS, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), and participating partner banks for MySSS Card services.

The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong joined the Department of Finance (DOF), the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and the Philippine Trade and Investment Center - Hong Kong (PTIC-HK) in convening the Philippine Economic Briefing (PEB) in Hong Kong on 07 September 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), Wan Chai.

The briefing, supported by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, brought together government officials, business leaders, and potential investors primarily from Hong Kong and mainland China.
