LORD EDWIN E. HITTI, PRESIDENT OF THE ARAB CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY HONORED TO BE GUEST OF ASIA PARTNERS AND FIFA MUSEUM HONG KONG'S "MANY COLOURS, ONE TEAM" GALA DINNER, AND RECEIVE THE MUSEUM'S EXCLUSIVE ACCESS GOLDEN TICKET

The special evening celebrated the arrival of the “FIFA Museum” exhibition to Hong Kong ahead of its official opening on 28 May 2026. All proceeds from the gala supported the “Love 21 Foundation,” a charity empowering Hong Kong's Down syndrome, autistic, and neurodiverse community through sports, nutrition, and holistic programmes.

The night included celebrity guests and highlighted the power of sport to bring communities together.

The gala runs parallel to the massive FIFA Museum Hong Kong exhibition running at Times Square in Causeway Bay, a six-month showcase, which opened on May 28, marks the museum's debut in Asia, featuring the original FIFA World Cup trophies, the iconic "Rainbow" jersey installation, and interactive cinema.

The exhibition is brought to the city by Asia Partners, who serve as the worldwide IP owner and presenting partner.

Eid ul Adha in Hong Kong falls on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, coinciding with 10 Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH. The festival lasts for three days, commemorating the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son in submission to Allah’s will.

Prayer Timings and Locations

Special morning prayers are held across various mosques and designated locations in Hong Kong. The five official mosques under the Board of Trustees generally host Jamaats (congregations) lasting approximately 30 minutes:

Kowloon Masjid and Islamic Centre (Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui)
Masjid Ammar and Osman Ramju Sadick Islamic Centre (Wanchai)
Jamia Masjid (Shelley Street, Central)
Chai Wan Masjid (Chai Wan)
Stanley Masjid (Stanley)
Eid Adha Mubarak, and may Allah (SWT) reward you and your family with goodness, bring you joy, happiness, peace and prosperity on this blessed occasion.

The CCPIT conference aims were to promote Shandong’s major strategies, be part of new opportunities for high-quality development, establish a platform for exchange and cooperation with international financial institutions, advance financial opening-up, and witness the signing of key projects.

The object of this event was for participants to pool overseas capital to empower the Shandong Province’s high-quality development, in which the ArabCham stands committed to support and assist with.

THE ARAB CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY’S PRESIDENT LORD EDWIN E. HITTI INVITED TO THE 2022 FOUNDATION “HONG KONG’S NEXT GROWTH PATHWAY” REPORT LAUNCH CUM SEMINAR

The 2022 Foundation was founded by Dr. Victor Fung Kwok-king, Group Chairman of the Fung Group (widely known as Li & Fung).

Dr. Victor Fung, Chairman, 2022 Foundation keynote speech addressed “Repositioning Hong Kong in a Changing Global Order”.

Prof. Heiwai Tang, Associate Vice President, the University of Hong Kong presented the Report Launch and briefing.

Followed by a Panel Discussion entertaining “Reinventing Hong Kong’s Competitiveness” which was moderated by Mr. Ka Mun Chang, Secretary General, 2022 Foundation.

The Panelists included, Mr. Andy Tung, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, QBN Management Limited; Mrs. Vivian Cheung, Chief Executive Officer, Airport Authority of Hong Kong; Mr. James Tong, Director, Group Public Affairs, John Swire & Sons (H.K.) The Global Mediation Summit 2026 bought together distinguished senior government officials, seasoned mediators, legal academics, corporate governance leaders, and representatives from international organisations. This event facilitated an in-depth dialogue on key issues in international mediation practice.

Participants who joined sessions focused on state-to-state and investor-state dispute resolution, exploring the practical and far-reaching value of mediation for governments and investors, as well as the long-term development of a global mediation ecosystem.
