【Chinese woman has experienced an ordeal after taking Uber’s service】
Uber services based in the US with its unique model for providing car ridesharing services has generated surge as it has begun expanding into China and has been applicable to more than 10 cities in China. However, a Chinese woman was sexually assaulted by the Uber driver and this case has been widely discussed. Some said that it is an isolated case and some said that it is more to do with the cultural conditions than do with the app itself. What do you think?

【Another 500 Startups has completed their demo and brighten up people’s eyes】
VentureBeat has sorted out eight favourite startups from 500 startups. MoBagel is one of the Taiwanese startup team. It does Google Analytics for the Internet of Things. People nowadays may focus on building websites as well as mobile applications. With the application of MoBagel, it helps the manufacturers and designers to analyze the usage behavior after the product has been delivered. The founder of MoBagel Adms Chung even claims that he was besieged by investors, and was asked about the investment channel after the event.

【Alibaba has become the shareholders of Suning and steer the O2O ecommerce market.】
Alibaba has announced to pool RMB28.3 million in the Chinese Retail Giant, Suning, to operate in an O2O mode. Synergies include financial and after-sales support. Alibaba stressed that the future consumers can enjoy both “physical experience” with products in a store, while making orders and payments via Alibaba’s Alipay service. Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba said that both sides are mutually beneficial, it is by joining force that offline retailers will not be excluded in the market, and gradually construct a new O2O commerce model.

【When everyone is not pleased with the new policy on salary, how will it pose a threat towards the employee morale?】
Dan Price, founder and CEO of the credit-card-payment processing firm Gravity Payments announced that he was raising the company’s minimum salary up to $70,000 a year but seems that not everyone were happy with the new arrangement. Though most employees in the higher position of the hierarchical level gain higher salary, they claim that others who do not bear much job tasks with the least skills also have their salary raised with the similar range.
