[Passage of the Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse Bill]
The Hong Kong government has officially passed the Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse Bill on its third reading on July 11, 2024. This new legislation stipulates 23 professions as mandatory reporters, including child residential care services, dentists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, clinical psychologists, and others, who should receive specialized training to enhance their ability to identify, prevent, and report cases of child abuse.

【三讀通過《強制舉報虐待兒童條例草案》】
政府已於2024年7月11日三讀通過《強制舉報虐待兒童條例草案》規定 23 類專業人員為強制舉報者，包括兒童住宿照顧服務、牙醫、職業治療師、言語治療師、心理學家等，相關持份者應接受專業培訓，以增加識別、預防和處理個案舉報的機會。
