CG Eric Teo and Mrs Teo were honoured to accompany Macao Chief Executive (CE) Sam Hou Fai and Mrs Sam during their Official Visit to Singapore earlier this week at the invitation of Prime Minister (PM) Lawrence Wong.
CE Sam had separate fruitful meetings with PM Wong, Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong, and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies and Minister for Health Ong Ye Kung during his visit. These meetings explored how Singapore and Macao could deepen ties and cooperation, including in healthcare, financial services, trade, tourism, and cultural exchanges, and how Singapore could tap into opportunities in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Co-operation Zone in Hengqin and the wider Greater Bay Area. 🇸🇬 🇲🇴
CG and Mrs Teo also accompanied CE and Mrs Sam on their various site visits, including the Housing & Development Board (HDB)'s Queenstown “Remaking Our Heartland” redevelopment project at SkyResidence@Dawson, Resorts World Sentosa, Gardens by the Bay and the Singapore Science Park, to better understand Singapore’s approaches in housing, urban planning, tourism, and industry development, and gather inspiration for Macao’s economic diversification efforts.
CE Sam also delivered a lecture on Macao-Singapore/ASEAN collaboration at the National University of Singapore's East Asian Institute and hosted a Cocktail Reception on the sidelines of the Macao Investment Promotion Seminar, bringing together businesses from both cities.
We look forward to strengthening our relations with Macao as they begin implementing their next Five-Year Plan and beyond. 🤝📈🏘️
張文喜總領事及夫人有幸陪同澳門特別行政區行政長官岑浩輝及夫人早前應新加坡總理黃循財邀請，對新加坡進行正式訪問。
行政長官此行分別同總理黃循財、副總理顏金勇，以及社會政策統籌部長兼保健衛生部長王乙康進行富有成果嘅會晤，探討新加坡與澳門如何喺醫療、金融服務、貿易、旅遊及文化交流等領域深化合作，並討論了新加坡如何把握橫琴粵澳深度合作區及粵港澳大灣區嘅發展機遇。🇸🇬 🇲🇴
總領事夫婦亦陪同行政長官伉儷到多個地點考察，包括新加坡建屋發展局女皇鎮「再創我們的家園」重建項目 SkyResidence@Dawson、聖淘沙名勝世界、濱海灣花園及新加坡科學園，深入了解新加坡喺房屋、城市規劃、旅遊及產業發展方面嘅做法，並為澳門推動經濟多元化汲取靈感。
行政長官亦於新加坡國立大學東亞研究所發表有關澳們-新加坡關係及東盟合作爲題嘅主題演講，並於澳門投資推介會後舉辦招待酒會，促進兩地商界交流。
期待澳門在推進新一份五年規劃之際，新澳兩地能夠進一步深化合作、共創新機遇。🤝📈🏘️
